Overview:
Although most know of the Mackie as the first BattleMech, it was not the first true
prototype walking tank. That honor belongs to the machine called the Walker.
Capabilities:
The Walker actually prototyped several advanced technologies, from primitive BattleMech
armor, to prototype short-range missile packs to prototype jump jets. Technology rapidly
outpaced the design, and it quickly became apparent that even more fearsome possibilities
existed for the BattleMech technology. Thus, was the Walker relegated to the history
archives of Terra.
