Overview:
    Standing somewhere between the royal Archer and the Mad Dog the Archer IIC is a rather rare
    'Mech that was developed by the Blood Spirit scientist caste to boost their clan's touman
    strength in the 2930s. The prototype was seized by Ghost Bears in a raid, but shelved
    shortly thereafter because it was far from ready for the field. The upper torso later served
    as a basis for the development of the Mad Dog chassis. The Blood Spirits tried to build some
    more but in the end the production capacity was not there and refurbishment of the royal
    Archers proved to be time consuming. A total of six were supposedly produced and seventh was
    found in an advanced state of assebly by 3085 when scavengers were picking through the
    rubble of a Spirit holding on Honor.

Capabilities:
    Archer IIC is primarily a missile boat and it's rather basic in it's technlogies. The
    Spirits used the advancements in missile technology and armour to shave off more than a
    third of original Archer's protection in exchange for firepower. Increasing the number of
    missile tubes by half and greatly increasing the power of the arm mounted lasers the Archer
    IIC would have been a formidable foe in Star League's heyday, but for clan warfare of the
    30th century it proved too cumbersome, which relegated the 'Mech to suppoert roles and
    garrison duty.
