Overview:
    An intriguing refit, the 1-A is mostly a generic improvement over the standard Bruin model,
    and an expected one at that. However, it contains a few notable shifts that are much more
    complex than first glances would suggest, and which speak both to the evolving nature of the
    Dominion and modern combat, and its likely future as the prime Bruin design should not be
    ignored.

Capabilities:
    The armor is upgraded to ferro-fibrous and maximized, while the large pulse laser is dropped
    for an improved heavy large laser. The gauss rifle is replaced with a hyper-assault version,
    twenty class, with four tons of ammo. Notable, however, is the restoration of hand
    actuators. The Ghost Bears are not known for melee combat, and their Inner Sphere subjects
    generally are well provided with hatchets and claws by other designs. Furthermore, the heavy
    large laser model used is actually adapted from the Tyre 3 aerospace fighters, even though
    other models already intended for mechs are available on the market. Put together, this
    suggests that the Ghost Bears are intending for this mech to be entirely home grown and
    capable of even things they would normally detest. The Bears, it seems, fear dark times
    ahead.
