Overview:
    The 6K's existence is built upon contrivance and Combine pride.
    Centuries of warfare have allowed many Lyran Zeus-Assault mechs to become salvaged, nearly
    exchanging themselves for the Combine's own prolific assault, the Hatamoto.
    
    In a veritable game of hopscotch, power plants would be taken and switched out between 2
    assaults and a heavy vehicle.
    
    Pilots of Hatamotos would have the power plants of a Zeus, transplanted into their rides
    rather than use the machine of their enemy. This left a bunch of hallowed-out assaults.
    
    Purchased relatively cheap by a noble hoping to increase the defenses of his estate, the
    frames were filled in with smaller Pitban 240 fusion engines, taken from the relatively
    plentiful, Manticore heavy tanks.

Capabilities:
    Slower than its predecessor, the 6K attempts to mitigate this downgrade by remaining less
    vulnerable in both the battlefield and in the maintenance bays. Heavy armor granted by a
    full 12 tons of heavy ferro-fibrous obtained through a secure contact, and CASE to protect
    its ammunition stores from potential explosion, really gives its pilots the impression that
    they are piloting an assault.
    
    As impressive as its rugged nature and durability are, the main changes seen in the 6K is in
    its similar but beefed-up armament.
    
    Keeping true to its origins and role, the long-range profile is kept by increasing the LRM
    rack from a 15 to a 20, adding an Artemis FCS and additional ton of ammo for endurance. The
    autocannon, usually paired with the missiles, has been replaced by a head capping Gauss
    Rifle. In place of the large laser is a less powerful but longer ranged, Light PPC.
    
    The close-range support of twin Medium Lasers has been vastly upgraded through the use of
    advanced Variable Speed Pulse Lasers. Deadlier and accurate, they serve as a nasty surprise
    against the usual rush in tactics of speedier mechs trying to close in within the minimum
    range of the big guns. The how and where these illegal weapons were obtained has raised more
    than a few eyebrows.

Deployment:
    Despite being visually identical and equally adaptable to most existing Zeus variants, it is
    confidently believed that all 6Ks, roughly a company in total, remain in the employ of a
    quiet Marquis/Daimyo near the edge of periphery space.
