Overview:
    The Light Hammer is basically a Warhammer chopped down to 55 tons.  The weight saving turns
    the once heavy mech into a very scary medium mech. The light hammer boasts more firepower,
    more armor, more speed, more maneuverability and better heatsinking capability then its
    older brother all while shaving off 15 tons.

Capabilities:
    Utilizing Light PPC's as its main weapon helps save a tremendous amount of weight while the
    added capacitors ensure no loss in fire power for it's main weapons. Three ER Medium lasers
    and a Streak SRM 6 back up the main guns and dissuade any opponents from attempting to close
    in past the minimum range of it's PPCs. The Light Fusion engine provides a top speed 86 Kph
    while not sacrificing any survivability. Five jump jets give the Light Hammer a respectable
    jump distance of 150 meters, and allow it to easily maneuver in difficult terrain.  10 and a
    half tons of Light Ferro armor provide near maximum theoretical armor that even eclipses its
    bigger 6D brother in the amount of damage it can take. A state of the art CASE II was
    installed in the left torso to protect from possible ammo explosions, while an anti missile
    system further protects the mech from indirect fire while it closes distance to engage the
    enemy forces. Twelve double heatsinks help the Light Hammer to stay cool while running and
    gunning, but mech warriors are cautioned against alpha strikes as they can quickly over heat
    the mech.

Deployment:
    The Light Hammer has seen moderate amounts of combat with 59th Legion. It is often right at
    home wading into combat and slugging it out with anything its size. During the battle for
    Wolf Creek pass it ran into a Warhammer 6d and easily fell the much heavier mech in single
    combat with only minor damage. New mech warrior's have complained about heat build up,
    especially in lunar fights but no effort to make any changes have been talked about.

Variants:
    The 11c version changes out the AMS for a guardian ECM suite
