Overview:
**FROM FWL HALL AFTERMATH HOLOVID**
Ehh, yeah about Janit. Ya know cpt. Janit had always been a *censored* *censored* fool.
Hothead, without even basic grasp of *censored* tactics or whatever, but form goody
*censored* noble family and he always knew what *censored* is best to climb in to (read
Mercz's *censored*). During that cursed *censored* raid on Hall in '39 our lance was sent to
pursue some dragoon scouts to *censored* tight pass. Those smallish *censored* freaks
avoided our position and run like mad. We followed despite our mechs were mostly heavies
like my beloved Marauder, but that *censored* Janit still cried to intercom to keep up and
so we did. Guess what, the pass was a trap even *censored* child would know that, but Janit
had his own *censored* glory and ordered us to split up to seal the way back. Why would they
come? When we entered that *censored* pass nothing less than two assault lances, that waited
for first *censored* fool to come around, started blasting our mechs to *censored*. Janit
was first to fall, his Orion caught the of three Awesomes that merrily ripped that
*censored* idiot's torso and next just smashed my MAD. I don't remember much only the shock
when six PPCs slammed my mech and I got my share of electricity through neurohelmet. Some
reinforcements arrived later, so they picked up what remained from our unit, but I tell ya,
I cried like child when i saw it.
Capabilities:
C'mon I'll show ya what remained from once shiny ... maybe not so shiny, but fine mech
before those *censored* crippled it. I was second in command, so I confiscated Janit's
*censored* shiny polished Orion, or rather the charred husk of it an tried to put at least
one mech to action. With rest of my unit dead, there was no squabbling for spare parts, so
at least in this I had my hands untied. Techs reported that my MAD's supply leads were
completely burned out and they are unable to fix it soon, so I was forced to remove
remaining energy weapons that weren't lost to those ... PPCs. You wouldn't believe how
calming it is to speak about war machines instead of that ... Janit ... I ordered the techs
to cut AC and LRMs from Orion and weld them MAD's arms. Running ammo feeds and recalibrating
gyro took three weeks, but now it can at least walk, even if it still drops on right leg.
Other mechs were beyond repair, but when I saw the rest of 18th I understood that I'm not
alone in *censored*.

If you have no choice you would pilot even this! ;-)
Speed, firepower, range and heatmanagement are good!
But the total ammo dependence and the low armor protection are flaws that can be deadly!

Luv the fluff but I can't really say the same about the mech. It's good, but just not something I would pilot. My favorite tactic in most games is to play a war of attrition and this mech goes against that. I don't think you need me to point out anything as this mech was purposely designed to be what it is. To its credit, it's still a good mech and very useful for it's time period. And again, congrats on some excellent fluff.

FrankenMech!!
Ok.. nice fluff, on this one b*stard child of an orion and a marauder.. though it probably loks more like an orion now.
Running out of ammunition is a very real possiblity though it does pack a reasonable punch.
