Overview:
    It is not a novel concept to take the Hunchback and radically redefine its battlefield role
    by simply ripping out some weaponry and replacing it with other comparable pieces of
    equipment. And in a way the 7LG is in itself not a novel refit as it apes on the earlier 5SG
    with some of its loadout. But while the 5SG was created to be an ambushing sniper, the 7LG
    was created to be part of a direct fire support lance, and more importantly to help escort
    such lances and protect them from the more mobile enemies or from ambushers with its array
    of closer in weaponry.

Capabilities:
    While most of the chassis equipment used for the 7LG is similar to the stock 4G, it should
    be noted that instead of a standard internal structure the 7LG uses an Endosteel mix to save
    weight and the 10 double strength heat sinks to keep up with the heat load of its total
    weaponry. Beyond that, it sports a half ton more armor than the 4G as the last change to the
    chassis and is equipped with four Pittban 9000 jump jets mounted in the legs for added
    maneuverability should the 'Mech find it necessary.
    
    For its primary armament, it is equipped with a Norse Storm light gauss rifle mounted in the
    right torso and protected with CASE, and fed with two tons of ammunition loaded in the same
    torso to allow for ample battlefield staying power. For backup weaponry should an enemy get
    too close for the effective range of the LGR, the 7LG is equipped with four Ichiba 3000
    medium lasers, one in each arm and two mounted in the left torso. Added on to this is a
    Diverse Optics Type 20P medium pulse laser mounted in the center torso for better weapon
    accuracy when jumping, and a Diverse Optics small pulse laser mounted in the head to deter
    infantry.
