Overview:
    Built to take or defend a fixed position against multiple types of opponents, the
    UrbanPacifier is truly an assault ?Mech in the frame of a light ?Mech. Massing only 35 tons,
    this design is technically a light BattleMech, but designs choices make it as durable as
    many designs two to three times its size.

Capabilities:
    What makes the UrbanPacifier such a rugged, durable weapon of war is a combination of
    choices it?s designers made when creating this BattleMech. Internally, everything is built
    around a heavy-duty reinforced frame, which is, in turn, covered by a shell of
    ferro-lamellor armor which has been made as thick as possible for the machine?s mass. The
    arms are designed similar to the venerable Quickdraw BattleMech, with hyper-extending
    actuators to allow for increased arc of fire, and each contains a heavy-hitting improved
    heavy medium laser, a two pack short-range missile launcher, a trio of light machine guns
    and a flamer. The machine guns are provided a half ton of ammunition to split, and the
    design has been provided a ton of missile reloads; both in ammunition bays protected by
    advanced CASE systems. Finally, the center torso has been fitted with a single extended
    range medium laser, while the cramped cockpit as head comes with a Watchdog CEWS to provide
    the ability to ferret out hidden enemies, or provide some electronic warfare ability.
    
    Of course, something had to be given up in the design, and that was speed and mobility.
    Rather than use an expensive and less durable extra-light engine, Clan Sea Fox used a small
    standard fusion core that only allows a top speed of 54 kph. Although this would not be
    sufficient for a standard battlefield, for urban combat, it works. Additionally, enough jump
    jets have been mounted to allow for 90 meters of lateral or 30 meters of vertical movement,
    which allows many obstacles to be cleared. Although the design is relatively easy to
    maintain and pilot, some of its features, such as the arm actuators, do require relatively
    rare components, and can be difficult to replace if needed.

Deployment:
    As a recent design, the UrbanPacifier has not been seen in combat much, but it is starting
    to make a name for itself.
