Use this just like a grasshopper. The SRM is a useful critseeker payed for with a ton of armor. But for a unknown (for me) reason I never liked it as much as the GHR, maybe I thought of it as an easy copy. |

A bit more "orthodox" design than the Grasshopper (its hard to avoid comparing these two).
With armor allocation and weapons choice it s probably meant to enter the fight in more common way (approaching and firing instead of jumping in the middle of enemies) and JJs work more as an equipment for handling terrain than for combat maneuvers. The Guillotine will probably do better by firing the SRMs and laser while maneuvering only to stay in range instead of attempting some wild maneuvers. Also the main difference between the GHR and GLT is not in armor or missiles, but in weapons allocation.
The GHR has working hand actuators, so it is more potent in melee and it can also take part in raiding, because it can carry things. The GLT on the other hand should stay away and blast like mad. Oh and it is also one of the 'Mechs known to carry a searchlight, so it has some additional options in night battles.
So, while similar, these two 'Mechs probably have slightly different roles on the battlefield. |

This is a more useful Grasshopper, but this also presents a problem, people are much more likely to shoot a Guillotine, its slightly more expensive as well, use it as you command mech to lead a group of grasshoppers behind enemies. |

For some reason i find this better than the Grasshopper.
It does everything it does and repalces the somewhat useless LRM-5 for a far more useful SRM-6.
A good brawler with good armour and heavy close range firepower. Go easy with the large laser though.. Its best reserved to cover you in. |

Its way past the curve for most heavy mechs. At least in a city. This mechis death incarnate sometimes with its in close weapons suite.
The lack of range weapons had better be cover by a lance mate with some LRMs or something. Otherwise this mech gets hammered before it can do much. |
