Overview:
    Developed late into the One Year War as part of the United Maintenance Plan, the Rick Dom II
    was an improved model of the MS-09R Rick Dom. Unlike its predecessor, which was based on the
    ground-use MS-09 Dom, the Rick Dom II was designed from the ground up with space-use in
    mind, and thus did not take aerodynamics into account. Its armor was redesigned to use a
    more planar structure, which made it possible to install a more powerful generator and
    thrusters with higher output. In addition, it was equipped with more vernier thrusters for
    increased mobility, and a pair of propellant tanks for increased operating time. Compared to
    its predecessor, its production was simplified, and its durability was enhanced. The use of
    the second stage production type cockpit improved ease of use, lessening the burden placed
    on the pilot. Despite being specialized for space use, it can also operate within the
    atmosphere or inside colonies with modifications.
    During the 0085 UC Rick Dom II was used by Axis/Neo-Zeon as a heavy assault unit. Only a
    handful of Imperial weapons could seriously damage such armored mobile suit, while MS-09R-2
    in return easily breaches through anti-air fire and inflicts critical damage on unprepared
    warship or space installation.

Capabilities:
    Every single Rick Dom II is equipped by default with scattering beam gun in left torso
    (which easily disables missile targeting systems or can blind enemy pilot), two propellant
    tanks for longer operating time and heat saber on right back joint. For anti-warship
    hit-and-run tasks MS-09R-2 is often equipped with H&L-GB10R/360mm giant bazooka (3 ammo
    boxes, one in weapon, one on each hip) and two back-mounted sturm fausts. Also very popular
    among Rick Dom pilots was wrist-mounted 15 mm Mosura machine gun, usually installed on each
    arm for anti-infantry defence.
