Overview:
    The Guillotine -5PM was Promethean Armouries' first C3 Master mech after they gained access
    to the technology (by undisclosed means). It was released alongside the GLT-5LS to mark PA
    starting to invest in advanced network tech in mechs. In another first, it was also their
    first public offering to use ER lasers.
    
    At that time C3 master computers were especially difficult for PA to acquire thus ER lasers
    were deemed acceptable to allow the -5PM to maintain a safer distance from opfor for the
    preservation of the precious C3 Master.

Capabilities:
    In an unprecedented departure from design doctrine the -5PM used ER medium lasers. RSE and
    PA had sourced ER weapons in the past when conducting repairs, but this was the first time
    ER weapons had been offered as a stock component on one of their own machines. The move was
    justified to help keep the -5PM keep some distance from combat and reduce the C3 Master
    computer's exposure to danger. Changing the SRM6 for an LRM10 had the same rationale. The
    standard PPC was retained because that was deemed to have adequate range already when the
    additional heat output of an ER PPC could not be justified.

Variants:
    The predecessor to the -5 variants, the -4P3, actually retained higher levels of demand
    throughout the production life of the -5 series. Many customers weren't ready for C3
    integration when PA released the -5PM and -5LS so the -4P3 was seen as a superior value
    proposition. When the time came that the tech had enough market penetration that clients
    would be interested the machines were given a mild update then remarketed.
