Overview:
Designer: Move at full speed to prevent the enemy from getting too close, and attack with
PPC. In some cases, try approaching and charging instead. Choose someone other than the
commander as the pilot, as the commander should be riding a heavier mech.
Capabilities:
GM: This unit is equipped with a PPC, no additional heat sink, and has slightly thinner
armor (though it's still much thicker than the Jenned), making it a delicately balanced
unit. Ivan, who likes more edgy units, really liked this unit. Incidentally, he himself
intended to use this unit for assaults (lol).
Deployment:
It has one job. It does that job. It's a fast sniper, simple enough. Keep at range, and
take cover every 4-5 turns to cool off. Definitely needs big maps, as it has no recourse if
boxed in.
Notable MechWarriors:
Ivan Glasnosky, member of the Independent Fools and participant of the Battle Over 3025
tests, chose the Sacred Fire as their favorite mech of the tests, stating that it is "where
a Mechwarrior's skill really shines."
