Overview:
    The quadrupedal Spindel was designed during the Blakist Jihad by Rasalhagian Hajepokalyps
    Crew head Fefrin Hundson and famed Draconis MechWarrior Dallas Franklin. The cheap design of
    the 1S allows it to be mass produced as a trooper 'Mech which, in large quantities, can
    easily overrun enemy combatants. As for its armaments, the 'Mech carries an Ultra AC-5 and a
    turret mounted MML-7 which fires LRMs and NIS Tandem Charge SRMs.

Capabilities:
    Given its low profile and long ranged weapons, the 1S can choose to snipe at its enemies and
    take minimal damage in return. It has a decent speed for a bipedal 'Mech, but it yields
    superior results given its quadrupedal nature. If a lighter 'Mech is able to reach and
    engage it, the turret-mounted MML-7 is equipped with Tandem Charge SRMs which can easily
    penetrate deep into the aggressor's internals no matter where they attack from.

Deployment:
    The 1S is advertised for planetary militaries to defend themselves against a Blakist
    Initiate onslaught. With its versatile weaponry, the 1S can play multiple roles; it can
    choose to sit further back on the battlefield with its LRMs and UAC-5, or it can focus on
    tearing up enemy internals with its TC SRMs. To avoid getting focused down in the latter
    route, the Spindel functions better when deployed with its foreboding counterpart: the Orb
    Weaver 1O. If deploying the 1S in a manner similar to the former is preferred, the
    Hajepokalyps Crew recommends the Spindel 2S as an accessory.

Variants:
    The 1S is the first version of the Spindel that the Hajepokalyps Crew has designed. More
    specialized solutions are found in the 2S and 3S.
