Indeed a very specialised machine but one that does its job very good. Carrying a single heavy weapon has its advantages and problems but a mech this fast with such a concentrated firepower has the ability to down almost any opponent in the right circumstances. If fielded under wrong circumstances it will fail (as a LRM boat will in a city) so i wouldn't give a rating thats too high but also wouldn't rate it bad. (But even if used in an open field due to its speed it will go down fighting.) Only real problem i see here is a jam of the UAC that would render this 10.8 mio C-bill mech weaponless. |

My heart jumps out to this mech. Eventhough its short-comings become easily apperent in the battlefield, so does its strengths. Although its chances of surviving a heated battle (xl engine T_T) are quite slim, It's damage potential is AMAZING!! With good positioning and a little bit of luck, you can cause way more damage than many other 50 tonners before this puppy goes down.
*please note that my review is somewhat biased due to my past accoplishments with this mech* |

Hey this design IS useful ! Don't use it as a mech design for all all sorts of work but rather to fill a niche needed in the lance.
Very specialized but very deadly if done right. |

Ok, I admit it's role is kinda specialized and it's purpose is limited but come on how could you dislike this thing? I love to use these baby's to watch over my long range support mechs like guardian angels. The concept is original and I'm glad it was done. |

This is a very clever design. Admit it, you're a little jealous that you didn't think of designing it first. It's really a very nice combination of Steiner and Davion thinking; combine good speed with heavy autocannons, and this is what you get.
It's not something I would field en masse, but it would make a great little ambusher. It looks munchy, but it really would not be too hard to take this down on a battlefield once you combine the thin armor and the XL engine. I could see fielding a Gauss Rifle variant just to cover the AC/20 carriers. |
