Overview:
    The Outworld Alliance (back then part of the Star League) approached ADL to build a modern
    medium tank to bolster its militia.
    The requirements included heavy firepower, good armor protection and independence from ammo
    and fuel supply chains.
    ADL answered with the Moose, called that because of the elongated form of the turret and the
    raised mountings of the main weapons.

Capabilities:
    Designed in the Star Leagues golden years the Moose was equipped with a fusion engine but no
    modern equipment.
    The all-energy weapon layout consisted of two large lasers and a coaxial medium laser, all
    turret mounted. The prototyp and the first production run was equipped with a front mounted
    small laser as an infantry deterrent, but combat experience showed quickly, that it was
    ill-suited for doing that. It was exchanged with a machinegun. This violated the
    'independence from ammo supply chains' part of the requirements, but this was ruled
    acceptable as machinegun-ammo was readily available and the armor could be reinforced to
    seven tons (wich was on the verge of being accepted as 'good armor protection' amyways).

Deployment:
    The Moose was quite widespread in Outworld Alliance space.
    The Succession Wars werent kind to this tank. Several ended up in Kurita and Davion space,
    but most were destroyed and/or stripped of their fusion engines and lasers to keep Mechs
    fighting.

Variants:
    The first production run was equipped with a Martell small laser instead of the machinegun
    and had half a ton less armor.
