As this isn´t intended to compete against top rated 3058 frontline machines but to be an inexpensive, easy to repair mech for minor powers in small low tech border fights it is a real boon to smaller nations. By investing only relativly little money you get a tough, well armed and good armored workhorse that has a good speed too. As most laserheavy low tech designs it has some heatproblems though but proper heat management won´t be so difficult. |

My second favorite of the 55 ton machines. (shadowhawk being my favorite.) Love the weapons load, armor and the look. My only complaint is the lack of double heat sinks. I would personally drop 4 hs for 10 double and am not really sure Its a 80K difference but frees up enough tonnage for more armor and something else. |

In a lvl1 battlefield like those in the Chaos March, this mech has the potential to beat everything around him to scrap.
The paired LRM5s might be light but will rock against infantry, vehicles and lighter mechs. Comboed with a nice assortment of lasers and decent speed, this mech can tear into most enemies without batting an eyelid.
One of the best National Guards around. |

Powerful and heat efficent. But its a 2nd line design by the 3050+ range.
But its a really good design to pad your units with because it'll survive awhile and can be repaired easily.
Nothing exciting though. so keep it safeish if you can. |

National Guard 'Mech? Against other 3025 designs, this 'mech would be incredibly dangerous. This machine has good armor, good speed, and is bristling with lasers. The twin pack of LRMs is a token long-range weapon, but is sufficient for damaging opponents before moving in for the kill. All in all, this is an incredibly dangerous battlemech for it's class, capable of threatening designs fifteen heavier in head-to-head combat. |
