What do we have here? The old training mech out of the first BT box i had back in the 80´s.
Fast and mobile and so a candidate for hit´n run tactics. A good mech to learn heat management in too.
Fun to hunt down Wasps and Stingers with that while you are on a recon mission.
The variant from my BT box got only 6 tons of armor, a fourth small laser and those 200 shots of MG ammo. |

In a 3025 era, this mech would effectively spell doom for many lights or scouts ! Sure it lacks the armor, but it is fast enough and can jump far enough to make good use of all those little guns. |

A good fast training mech. I'd slot it into my scout companies in 3025. Because its fast enough and powerful enough to make a difference at that speed.
The small lasers and machine guns aren't often seen on mediums but this mech is just far enough jump capable to get use out of them.
You've basically got the Large Laser for long range work, and the rest for in closer. Don't mix your two weapon sets the heat gets henious. |

I like the concept of a trainer, but in 3025 this 'mech is going to be thrown onto the line. This 'mech works a lot like a Phoenix Hawk, but with much better point-blank ability. A good trainer, but also a good scout. |

Perfect for training green warriors. Against 3025-tech opponents, this mech is going to work fairly well, and will let you kill light and some medium mechs. Going up against heavy and assault mechs is going to get this unit squashed. |
