Overview:
    The Lyran alliance tried to keep the loss of its only prototype a secret, but the theft of
    it's attempt at a new scout managed to be leaked through smaller military channels.
    When the design was initially proposed they hired a mechwarrior for the test pilot and
    expected him to give feedback on the program. Unfortunately the pilot was a imposter and
    used the mechs impressive electronics suite to facilitate his eventual escape with the
    machine.

Capabilities:
    The Super Stinger is similar to the original Stinger in name only. The visual look of the
    design is a cross between the Stinger and Phoenix Hawk, but different. The designer insisted
    on using the same computers found in the older Ostscout's, with upgraded CPU's for better
    processing. Since the unit was intended to work behind deep enemy lines for long periods of
    time this system was linked to both a Guardian ECM and a Beagle active probe to keep units
    from ambushing the design as it gathers intel. Supposedly these systems work independently
    of each other. Since it is meant for deep recon and long trips one hostile planets, it
    mounts full armor with both a Null Signature system and a Cameleon LPS.

Deployment:
    Currently the whereabouts of the Super Stinger are unknown. It was tracked to the mountains
    then lost when it out maneuvered the scout lance in pursuit and crippled all machines. Then
    taunted Lyran high command as he dissapeared.
