Overview:
    Made in the midst of the Jihad by the Federated Suns, the GNN-4R was meant to be a
    next-generation Gunner that countered the threats of the age. Achernar BattleMechs chose to
    sacrifice long-range potential for close-in firepower, drastically upping its autocannon's
    fire rate using rotary technology among other changes.
    
    The design was deployed to counter the Manei Domini of the Word of Blake as well as their
    BattleMechs, a Lance of Gunner 4Rs easily being able to amass lethal firepower to counter
    their advanced technology. It also showed effectiveness on more conventional opponents.

Capabilities:
    The 4R's main source of firepower is a Mydron Tornado Rotary AC/5 with 5 tons of
    CASE-protected ammunition, meant to deliver a devastating amount of firepower in a short
    amount of time. Backing this up are three Sutel Precision Line Medium Pulse Lasers and two
    ChisComp 2000 ER Small Lasers for up close, and a Light Machine Gun with one ton of ammo
    (also with CASE) for picking off infantry. 10 double heat sinks are enough to cool the 'Mech
    off, and the electronics are updated to newer versions.
    
    DESIGN QUIRKS: Easy to Maintain, Hyper-Extending Actuators, Difficult Ejection

Variants:
    GNN-4RS: A copycat variant made by the Lyran Alliance with some differences. Rumors persist
    that it was based on schematics purposefully leaked to the Lyrans by the Federated Suns to
    aid them against a mutual foe in the Blakists, but such a claim has not been conclusively
    proven.
