Overview:
    An exclusive Gunner variant made for the Lyran Commonwealth, the GNN-3S was one of the
    initial designs rushed out for the Great Refusal. Defiance Indsustries won the contract to
    produce it, and chose to make it a fire support 'Mech that used large weapons to maximize
    long-range damage. While this meant removing dedicated close-in weapons, the secondary
    lasers were deemed acceptable enough firepower for short ranges.

Capabilities:
    The primary firepower of the 3S comes in the form of a Zeus Slingshot Gauss Rifle installed
    in the right torso with CASE protection, supplied with 3 tons of ammunition in the left
    torso. Its secondary weapons, and the only ones able to be used in CQC, are two Defiance C9L
    ER Large Lasers installed in the arms. To make this change the Jump Jets of the 3R had to be
    removed, and that combined with the loadout is responsible for the Gunner 3S being deemed
    primarily a sniper variant.
    
    DESIGN QUIRKS: Easy to Maintain, Hyper-Extending Actuators, Difficult Ejection

Deployment:
    The trial by fire for the Gunner was the Great Refusal, participating in the informal
    Annihilation of Clan Smoke Jaguar.
