Overview:
    A field modifcation made by the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces to the Hardshot A due to its
    heat problems when Alpha Striking, a more robust cooling system was installed to make firing
    all guns possible without the Omni QuadVee instantly gaining a dehabilitating level of waste
    heat, at the cost of being made vulnerable for a moment after firing so the 'Mech can handle
    the mass coolant release.
    
    TharHes Industries would begin manufacturing refit kits on Tharkad in 3152, making the A2
    configuration officially supported.

Capabilities:
    The improved cooling system removes two Clan Double Heat Sinks in order to mount for
    IS-grade Coolant Pods, two in each side torso. While waste heat on an Alpha Strike with the
    two Capacitor-equipped Clantech ER PPCs would still be too much for it to completely purge,
    it could now flush out the buildup four times. However, as it is an OmniMech, the 'Mech
    would have to stop firing and temporarily shut down as to prevent the 'Mech from
    irreversibly failing during coolant release.
