Overview:
The Stinger SPZ-37, affectionately known as the "Spaz," is a powerhouse on Solaris VII, and
it proudly represents the mercenary company Banshee Assault Unlimited (B.A.U.).

Crafted from the finest salvage parts, the Spaz was brought to life by B.A.U.’s lead
Mechtech, Byron “Scoot” Willis. His innovative design not only ensures top-tier
performance, but it also serves as a bold advertisement for B.A.U., helping to elevate the
company’s profile and attract new opportunities in the fiercely competitive Solaris arena.

Equipped with a cutting-edge upgraded power plant, the Spaz boasts additional jump jets,
enhancing its agility and mobility on the battlefield. To seal its reputation as a
crowd-pleaser, an intimidating hatchet has been added to its arsenal—perfect for
delivering stunning blows that leave audiences on the edge of their seats.

Whether it's dazzling the crowd or dominating the competition, the Spaz is a Mech designed
to make an impact—and it’s here to put B.A.U. at the top of the Solaris VII rankings.

Deployment:
The Spaz has largely made its name on the neon-lit battlefields of Solaris VII, where its
thrilling performances and devastating presence have captured the attention of fans and
competitors alike. Though its appearances have been primarily confined to the arena, the
Spaz has occasionally made brief forays into high-profile, low-risk contracts—strategic
moves designed to bolster B.A.U.'s sponsorship and build a loyal fanbase. Each of these
appearances only adds to the growing legend of the Spaz, and with every step, the reputation
of both the mech and B.A.U. continues to rise.

But don't be fooled by its showmanship—Spaz is no mere spectacle. In the few active-duty
roles it’s taken on, it has proven itself a formidable urban defense unit, showcasing
unmatched resilience and strategic versatility in complex, confined environments. Whether
holding the line or turning the tide in a city-wide battle, the Spaz has proven that it’s
not just a crowd-pleaser; it’s a force to be reckoned with.

Variants:
No variants of "Spaz " have been planned at this time although replacing the hatchet with
    flammers has been suggested.

Notable MechWarriors:
"Spaz" is piloted by none other than Mo Dartha, a former FedCom Mechwarrior whose bold,
unpredictable style made him a rising star—and a bit of a loose cannon. Known for his
reckless, high-risk approach to combat, Dartha was frequently at odds with his commanders,
who felt his unorthodox tactics led to excessive damage to both his mech and his lance
mates. One commander was quoted saying, "Although an extremely gifted Mechwarrior, the risk
outweighed the upside." This constant friction eventually led Dartha to leave FedCom,
seeking a place where his unrelenting combat instincts could be fully embraced. That place?
    B.A.U..

It didn’t take long for Mo Dartha to make a name for himself on the brutal battlefields of
Solaris VII. Fans quickly dubbed his Stinger “Spaz”, a fitting name for a mech that
mirrors Dartha’s unpredictable, lightning-fast fighting style. With the Spaz under his
command, Dartha has become a crowd favorite, using the mech’s remarkable mobility to its
    full potential.

Dartha’s approach is relentless—constantly jumping, darting, and weaving around the
arena, looking for every opportunity to exploit a firing angle or slip behind his opponents.
The Spaz’s jump jets and blistering speed allow Dartha to outmaneuver even the heaviest of
foes, often getting behind them to land devastating blows with his hatchet. The result?
Heavy mechs falling in a flurry of sparks and shattered armor as Dartha pushes the limits of
    what’s possible in the Spaz.

His aggressive, take-no-prisoners style has made him a nightmare for more heavily armored
mechs. He’s proven time and time again that sheer speed and ferocity can topple even the
most intimidating of opponents. In the arena, Mo Dartha is living proof that sometimes,
breaking the rules is the best way to win.
