Overview:
In 3035 the Nirasaki Guards Infantry Regiment on Abagnar was reinforced with an artillery
company. Horch Vehicles on Abagnar was ordered to set the new artillery pieces onto a
wheeled gun carriage and to design and build a tractor to tow them (the Rhinoceros Artillery
Tractor).
This is the Sniper Field Artillery (towed).
Capabilities:
The Armstrong Sniper artillery piece is a reliable weapon used since centuries ago.
The new wheeled gun carriage is highly automated and supports its own positioning with ICE
powered mechanisms so only a crew of 5 is needed to set it up. The unit comes with its own
communication and targeting & tracking system.
An armored angled shield protects the rear and sides of th carriage and its gun.
Deployment:
The Nirasaki Guards Infantry Regiment on Abagnar use this type but there are many other
variants used all over the Inner Sphere by various manufacturers.
