Overview:
    What happens when the LAW desires to keep the humble PNT combat capible in the Jihad era?
    The new out growth of the basic chassis into the Pasna.

Capabilities:
    As weapons fire grow more effective after the introduction of double heat sinks the Panther
    was finding its amour more and more lacking.  So a few old designers at LAW started a
    project to save a mech that had serived the Dragon so well.  In order to adress the lack of
    armor in its traditional role for the new conditions the design team had to add mass to base
    chassis, so up to their dislike the endosteel frame was reinforced to 45 tons.  And armored
    to the maximum.  Next the design team add an XL engine and Gyro as this was an experimental
    rest bed.  The gyro never work quite right and was seen as a failure do to the maintenance
    need to keep it working.  More successful was the enhanced fire control built into the right
    arm with the HPPC.  With an MML-5 the new Pansa had better long range fire without losing
    the SRM it parent design always had.  The new blend of HPPC, MML, armor, and maneuverability
    were still a little slow and heavy hitting for the era.  But a great improvement opon the
    old PNT series.
    But it all can to nothing when the Word of Blake nuked LAW, a few examples were out for
    testing but all the tooling and papers were lost.  This made the design into a prestige unit
    for those in the Dragons favor.

Deployment:
    Rare almost unique.  Used to show the Dragons favor to light mech pilots.  Lest than 20
    units where ever produiced

Variants:
    One proposed change to a full production model was removing the troublesome gyro for
    Fero-fiborois armor to reduce the time these mech spent in the hanger.
