Overview:
    The initial set of omni configurations for the Nova II were very much intended to match the
    configurations of the original nova.  Some changes were made to account for improved
    technology and and experience.

Capabilities:
    All the ER Medium lasers.  Changes include dropping 2 lasers in favor of a targeting
    computer, a common modification for the Nova Prime, and using a radical heat sink instead of
    directly adding heat sinks.  The results of this are mixed.  On one hand when the system is
    up it allows all 10 lasers to be fired without triggering any catastrophic heat effects.
    But when the system is down, the available firepower without overtaxing the cooling system
    is not quite as potent as the original Nova's.  Over the long run there is a slight dip in
    total cooling.  In the short haul though, with a measure of risk, this configuration can
    output 90% of its firepower continuously for nearly 40 seconds.  Going over 30 seconds is
    highly discouraged. More then 20 seconds should be saved for critical events.
    
    Another alternative available to the Nova II, but not the original, is to trade out the jump
    jets for additional heat sinks.  That change improves the average firepower by a fair bit,
    more so if the warrior is willing to take advantage of waist deep water.
