Overview:
    The Mamluk was designed to cash-in on the massive build-up of arms prior to the first
    succession war. Given a flashy name and rapidly developed with off-the-shelf and licenced
    components, it was initially met with little fanfare and the mech was regarded as nothing
    special. This lack of prestige was ironically it's saving grace as the mech found itself
    largely regulated to garrison and militia units, sparing it from the worst of the
    destruction. It was also found to be easy to repair, having almost no unique parts to it,
    and readily accepted modification and substitution should the correct parts not be to hand.
    The rushed design did result in a number of problems emerging though,  crucially the cooling
    system was considered inadequate for extended combat and the leg armour had been designed
    more for style than practicality resulting in poor protection around the actuators.
