Overview:
    An experimental BattleMech designed by the Republic of the Sphere, the Tomahawk III looks
    vastly different from its predecessors. In fact, in many ways, it almost resembles a
    modified Warhammer instead.

Capabilities:
    Built for extreme long range combat, the Tomahawk III mounts a potent combination of four
    clan-spec extended-range large lasers and a pair of hyper-assault Gauss rifles fed by 5
    shared tons of ammunition spread across the machine. A single laser and a HAG/20 is mounted
    in each arm, while the remaining lasers are in each side torso along with an anti-personnel
    Gauss rifle to protect against infantry assault on the machine. The BattleMwch also has an
    extended-range small pulse laser mounted in the head. As even twenty heat sinks struggle to
    keep up with this array of weapons during heavy combat, an Inner Sphere designed Radical
    Heat Sink System was also added to the design.

Deployment:
    Deployment of the Tomahawk III has been somewhat slow, but at least one lance of the
    machines has been deployed to most Republic units as of the time that the walls of Fortress
    Republic were deployed. The future of the design is unclear now that IlClan Wolf has
    conquered the Republic.
