Overview:
    The defense was going well.  The orbital defense batteries where heavy enough that bringing
    any ship within range of the planet was a losing proposition.  The enemy was keeping their
    distance,  occasionally bringing carriers close enough to send fighters in probing sorties,
    such as was the case now.  Planetary fighters were manueving to intercept or chase them off
    as had happened several times since the enemy fleet had set up station nearby about a week
    ago.  It wasn't the first time they had done such a recon raid, it wouldn't be the last.
    And confirmation of naval assets being deployed to run them off had come in this morning.
    They'd be gone in less then 2 weeks.
    
    Then the eye of Ba'al opened.

Capabilities:
    The Clockwork Bishop fills the fire support roll in Clockwork formations.  Twin LRM-20s with
    3 minutes of continous fire each are adequate to soften up entrenched defenders once the
    chaos of the initial landing subsides and battle lines start to form.  As usual the ammo
    bits tend to use a mix of homing and ARAD ammo to help compensate for the weakness of
    robotic forces.
    
    Light PPCs and medium lasers give both long and short options as secondary weapons.
    
    Mobility is only on par with heavy battle line formations,  but given that Clockwork tend to
    drop on the target area from space this has never been considered a problem.
