Overview:
The Hardshot IIC was based on Hardshot Supertanks taken on Kerensky's Exodus, which
eventually ended up in the hands of the Clans. During the various conflicts that led to
their formation, the propensity of the heavily ammo-laden Hardshot to be destroyed if
something so much as grazed the ammo storage led them to reduce it to more reasonable
levels. This greatly reduced the amount of time it could be operational (though to many it
was considered overkill already), but left room for an expansion & improvement of weapons.

Capabilities:
The main gun of the Hardshot IIC is a turret-mounted Thunderstroke Series 2 Gauss Rifle used
as its primary long-range firepower, given 2 tons of ammunition. Secondary weapons include
two coaxially-mounted Series 7N ER Large Lasers to the right of the Gauss Rifle, a Type XX
"Great Bow" LRM-20 pod mounted on the left of the turret alongside an Artemis IV unit which
has one ton of reloads, and four hidden Series IV Machine Guns that can emerge from the
sides when needed and share one ton of ammunition. Finally, in case infantry gets too close
to the front or rear of the tank, two Type 1p Anti-Infantry Pods are available to be
detonated.
Protection is provided by 20.5 tons of Compound Alpha Ferro-Fibrous plating, and a
Consolidated 300 XL fusion engine provides the needed energy. 24 heat sinks keep the tank
from overheating. Electronics consist of a 2SH C3 comms unit and a Build 4 JVJ
Targeting/Tracking System.
It is considered an objective improvement on the Hardshot design by many, being much less
prone to ammo explosions and having more firepower and versatility than the ancient design.
However, the lack of compromising amounts of ammunition ironically increase its cost over
time as it can no longer go multiple battles without reloads.
