To Inner Sphere surats, this may seem very similar to the Primary configuration. And indeed, it also sports an AC, SRM rack and two lasers. Even more significantly, in both the old and new bidding value [BV] systems, the point costs of both configurations lay within 1% of each other! Yet, accounting for all the previously mentioned factors, where the Primary configuration succeeds (though by definition, as being mounted on a bad base chassis, does not excel), configuration B fails miserably. By the time its own AC comes into range, the ‘Mech may well be disabled. And all other weapon systems are also of shorter range than their counterpart on the Prime. On top of that, its damage potential is not that much better to actually warrant a charge into suicidal ranges. |

Use this variant to shield yourself from other back biters. It's UAC-10 is devastating when firing up against any IS light mech as well as the mean complement of closed range weapons. |

This 'Mech earns some bonus points for that AC. This 'Mech will teach anyone to pay attention to Kit Fox when it's sneaking around, because it can hurt heavies with ease. Main problem is how to get this to range, but once there it will quickly start hurting the enemy... unless the pilot is blind or the 'Mech lost arms. Yes this is the main problem with Kit Foxes. With all weapons in arms you are one large laser hit from possible damage to weapons and weapons like gauss will simply tear the gun off. I would field this with Kit Fox A's in case that you can concentrate firepower. Good for fighting in terrain that doesn't restrict the movement too much but provides some cover against long range attacks or as something to position between long range fire support and the enemy. Just don't expect it to last long in bigger battles. |

Suffers from thin armour. Its weapons load will let it hammer IS scouts into paste but its shorter range weapons complement compared to the other variants hurts it against larger machines.
Its got decent but fairly limited ammo bins so it should be kept more as a picket in this version since the UAC eats shells.
Loses points for that ER small as most of us aren't Aidan. |

Good weapons in exchange for armour and speed. But one which works. 6/9 isn't exactly slow for a high powered Light mech. The UAC is bound to cause some damage to anything which thinks this lil dude is a pushover. |
