This is the best clan medium mech. I can't think of a clan medium I don't want to fight more than this. The gauss rifle lets it mug most light and medium mechs for their lunch money. The heavies usually are in just as much danger.
Only assaults can claim with ease they can defeat a Shadow Cat Prime. I'd argue you could have an effective scout star with all Shadow Cat's because they're that good. |

Now this is what you call a Scout/Sniper. The BAP is great for sniffing out hidden units, and the ER lasers will let the mech chew up any targets it discovers. The Guass rifle is fantastic for long range sniper work, and can even pull double duty for some close up work. If the target is a little too beefy for this mod to handle, kick in the Masc and doppler shift your hinder 90 out of there and let some bigger friends go to it. |

Handy mech, I might trade out the Masc for armor or weapons. With a gauss, and adding in some erMlas it would be a good flexible design. |

One of the handier Clan mediums. The Gauss Rifle is obviously the centerpiece here, and helps to compensate for it's average speed. Should be very deadly in a pursuit role, and also holds its own as a main line battlemech. |
