Hey, waitaminute, where's the Bushwacker??? This? Oh well...
It was certainly unexpected for me to see this weapon load-out on the old BSW and now I still can't decide whether I shall rate or rant at it. The all energy load-out is pretty dangerous once you get into pulse laser range and even at long range you can deal a fair amount of damage while moving at full speed. I'll try to ignore my dislike for all-energy boats, because this one looks like there was some effort put into it's creation. I have to agree that it would look better as a different model of the Crab, but otherwise it's fine. More fluff would help it... |

Someone I get this feeling that this is basically a modified Crab. Also the BW has lost it's style. It always packs a big ballistic gun of hurt and LRMs. So although quite efficient it is just "meh" for me.

I agree that a mech named "Bushwacker" should probably have originally been designed with an all-energy loadout. Unfortunately, I've become so used to Bushwackers mounting AC's, missiles, MG's, and etcetera that this variant seems a little strange.
This runs very cool (if used properly) and can fight at all ranges. It should do well, but not spectacular, in almost any situation. |
