As a Narc platform it should work well. There isn't much more the 'Mech can do, but it can easily work league's Hermes and Spider designs in reconnaissance duty. The armour is sufficient since the speed should serve as the main protection. I wouldn't mind having another ton of Narc ammo, but that's not a significant problem. This thing could easily appear in a TRO. I prefer to leave Narc launchers to speedy vehicles, but this would do. I like this. |

This is probably the best NARC platform I've seen, and I think the fluff makes sense too. The FWLM has historically been dependent on the LRM for long-range firepower, so this makes a lot of sense as a Marik design. I also appreciate that Archilochus resisted the temptation to try and make this an all-purpose raider with an XL engine and some more weapons. This 'mech has one job, does it well, and retires behind the lines when that job is complete.
My only quibble is with the placement of the medium laser. I'd put it in the head where it can't be shot off. That's why I'm giving a 4.5 instead of a 5. |
