Overview:
    For all of it's difficulties in the early thirty first century, the Capellan Confederation
    took amazing strides in Battlemech construction and innovation.  The Raven, the Cataphract
    and the Houyi were all products of this brief Capellan renaissance before the Fourth
    Succession war.   Named after the archer of Chinese legend who shot out the sun,  the Houyi
    is very much the younger sibling of the Cataphract.

Capabilities:
    As befitting it's name, the Houyi is quite capable of fire support.  The combination of the
    Zeus LRM-15, Ceres Arms Particle Projection Cannon and Mydron AC/5 allow it to support it's
    lancemates at a distance.   Should an enemy attempt to close, it has a pair of Ceres Arms
    Medium lasers for close quarters defense.
    
    
    
    A further consideration when it was designed was the sharing of as many common parts between
    the Cataphract as was feasible.  Not only in terms of weaponry but also extending to
    everything from shared Communications and targeting systems to the most basic of replacement
    parts.   This means that a unit which fields both the Cataphract and the Houyi can share
    from a common pool of replacement parts, which has come in handy in the wake of the Fourth
    Succession war.

Deployment:
    In the wake of the Fourth Succession War, both the Houyi and the Cataphract have become near
    ubiquitous in the effort to rearm the Capellan Confederation.  They are often paired up,
    with the Houyi providing covering fire to the Cataphracts' advance.
