Relocation of fixed equipment is forbidden on an omnimech chassis and adding armor is also impossible. Just like Knightrunner already mentioned the firepower is a little light (not too much), so the 'Mech must alpha-strike to do some real damage. Not to mention that the ATMs start to be effective against the other assaults when under 10 hexes (dealing at least 12 damage if the dice are helpful). TC/Pulse combo tries to save it, but with the TW out the Pulses can no longer target specific location, so the ability to deal concentrated damage is gone. |

Messing with fixed equipment and adding extra armor on Omni is a big no-no.
The mech does not overheat but that is a bad thing. The weapons are too light to do any real damage at any range. Most clan assaults will throw out more punches far faster than this thing as well.
TC and pulse combo has being nerfed as well so, its saving grace is gone... |

Accurate, but for a clan assault mech, very lightly armed.
As SD has already mentioned, this is NOT a Blood Asp.
The ATMs are nice, but 30 shots to share between the two launchers isn't going to be enough. ATMs love their ammunition, and they love variety in their ammunition.
It also has far more heat sinks than it really needs. Sure it can walk and fire everything in its arsenal, but think about it.. the only time that's going to happen is when someone strays witihin range of your MPLs.
Anything smaller will be faster and just run away while anything bigger probably has better long-ranged weapons.
Also, where's the fluff? |

The firepower is accurate, but there isn't much of it. Long-range firepower can only do 32 points- pretty light for a 90 ton Clan omni. Once in runs out of long-range ATM ammo this is left with two lasers against an enemy who doesn't want to close. At least it won't overheat.
So it's not a ranged fighter. Unfortunately it's not much of an infighter, either. Close up, the weapons are accurate, but still rather weak. No real killers, just the hyper-accurate pulse-targting computer combination. Blah.
It also alters fixed items on an omni chassis and doesn't appear to mount any Lvl 3 equipment. |
