"Hail Mary weapon" was probably replaced by ER small (good decision), but the missile launchers seem to turn it to proverbial Jack-of-All-Trades. Maverick A has something for every situation, but LRM minimal ranges prevent the weapons to work well together. The amount of ammo seems to be another strange thing, that forces pilot to conserve LRMs and use them with SRMs when they are in optimal range and SRMs can try difficult shots (C3 may help here). Omni can afford to be specialized, so this configuration doesn't make sense to me. |
