what are those GRs good for? They don't have enough ammo and even if you stayed with SHSs (bad choice for clan assault anyway) you may replace one of them with ER PPC without any loss of effectiveness. This mech suffers from almost all mistakes the designer can make so I'll try to point out only the strong points:

Standard speed (an asset when you look at the rest of the mech)

Looks like a massive downgrade from the Orion IIC.
1) The Orion DOES NOT have hands !
2) Where are the double heatsinks ? Its almost a given that Clan assault machines will mount double heatsinks. The mech is relatively cool running thanks to its large array of low heat main weapons but the Heavy large still runs too hot.
3) Too ammo dependent. This mech is reduced to a pathetic heavy laser, medium and small er laser carrier after 10 rounds or seconds if u wanna count in mechwarrior. You will need tons more ammunition.
4) I dont see any structural upgrades. If its meant to supercede the Orion IIC, it has to be an Omni-design with an XL engine to carry more goodies and even endo-steel construction.
5) The fluff. No one messes with Kerensky's ride, ever ! Clan Wolf might have upgraded it but the base chassis remains the same.
This is one idea that will never take off.

Give it a new name, fix the heat sink issue, and remember to add the ammo you need to run your guns.
Then maybe I'll feel sorry for executing the design staff.
This is someone adding to Kerensky's ride. They'd probably be abjured just for mentionign they dreamed of such an idea. Unless it was a Goliath Scorpion or Nova Cat, at which point the rest of the clans would yawn and make sure never came to fruitition.

Absolutely horrid.
OVerly ammo dependant. I mean come on 8 shots per guauss rifle? What are you going to use for a ranged weapon when you run out?
The LB 20-X has 10 shots. Half decent but considering that when tat runs out all you have is just a Heavy Large Laser and an ER SL and ER ML, its just bad.
Another fatal point is the heat sinks on this. 10? No-double ones at that. One short range barrage and smoke will start steaming outta your ears.
21 heat is just asking for it.
(Note: Even if the heat sinks WERE double, it will still have a problem)

Apart from the obvious flaw in fluff that Karagin pointed out, there are some other big problems:
1) Why does an Orion have hands?
2) This 'mech will have lost the majority of its offensive powers after 10 turns. There is not enough ammo.
3) Even though a relatively cool 'mech, how is it meant to cope with its heat? Especially with the heavy large laser? You obviously forgot to make the heat sinks double strength.
Rectify that, and change the fluff a bit (like how the Kell Hounds wound up with one) and it may work a whole deal better. I kinda like the basic frame!
