Pretty decent.
While the lack of ER or pulse weapons looks to be a hindrance, the BAP lets the mech find the truly dangerous targets and avoid them.
This also looks like a good companion mech for a Raven or similar EW mech. Setting them up correctly could blanket the entire field with ECM and jam enemy systems, or locat hidden units with disturbing efficiency.
While the loss of the MGs does leave this mech a bit vulnerable to infantry, its mobility will more than allow it to keep infantry at arms reach for the beam weapons to have an effect. |

Good conversion for EW purposes. Mixing it with other mobile mechs can produce dangerous attack group. Thanks to standard engine it's quite durable and cheap. |

As a Phoenix Hawk is okay. Better than a lot of 3050+ upgrades in cannon. Trading the TAG for Machine gun/half ton of ammo would be good in my mind as this mech usually ends up in scout units who frequently bump into infantry in various bases.
I like the reasoning behind the denial of ER weapons on this design. It just seems to run too hot and needs something to kill infantry.
TAG kind of seems out of place to me, because this is a decent scout mech. Why add something that means it can't fire its weapons. |

Nope don't like it. It has all this nifty EW stuff, but the weapons load is a bit weak for a P-hawk. Putting tag on a PHX is almost an insult to one of the original hunter/killer mechs. |

This one is impressive and for once it's not a "Stealth" mech. For that alone I am going with the 4 rating.
Nice fluff which ties into the mech's weapons and reason for being made to start with. I like that and wish others would do the same when fluffing a mech, would enhance a lot of the stock mechs if they would do that.
