A good design though I would personally lose the SRM-2 and ammo for another heat sink and extra armor. Aslo you might want to think of a new name since there is now an offical Mech design named Legionaire. |

Pretty good. A definite for National Guard units, or for garrison troops.
Probably not a good choice for front line combat, though.
The weapons are nice for its weight, and can be fired simultaneiously without overtaxing the DHS too badly.
The armor is good, providing a nice coverage to all areas. While its not going to stop AC 20 shells or gauss slugs, it will keep the majority of weapons from damaging the internals immediately.
Speed is nice, able to keep up with most armor and infantry, making this a nice infantry support vehicle. |

Durable and cheap mech with nasty long range weapons. It isn't fast, but in mixed stars it may fill the same role as the Panther. SRMs are good for backup, especially with infernos. |

I like this one, a light 'Mech with a fine long range punch. Faster than the Panther, although without jump. I'd suggest stripping the SRM 2 completely for an ER small and a heat sink, so you can move and shoot. Even as is it derves a 4.5 or 5, but loses points for poor distribution. If that ammo goes off, youve just lost 10 heat capacity. Move the heat sinks so they're spread between feet and side torsos, with tar comp in the CT. |

Nasty son of a gun.
The first thing i'll do if i see one of them in a lighter faster mech is run.
If i'm in something like a panther, i'll hope that jumping is enough....
the twin ER LLs can hurt bigger slower mechs at long range... |
