What is the point behind this mech? You have XL engine and a lot of SHSs? Why? There is not enough ammo to make the RACs last and the pulse lasers won't save your skin. Even with full ammo bins there is a firepower that can be matched by machines 40 tons lighter, so I'll pick something else. |

For an assualt mech brawler its low amount of ammo for its primary guns baffles me. As does the fact both of the ER weapons are rear mounted. It'd do better to have 2 pulses and 2 ER forward, and 2 pulses backward.
But I quibble, Its an XL assault that lacks a serious big gun. It sands you down and you can't afford that kind of mindset when you have the vulnerable XL engine. You need to be able to kill things quickly or you fall prey to the lucky crit.
Use it in a city, where it can fire all those sweet shorter range guns. Which means this mercenary has an XL engined beast to run high risk defence contracts which seems pretty difficult to fund. |

At first glance, this is quite good. I really like RACs, and the other weapons are pretty good, if a touch short ranged. It's like a really big JM7-F, but without the targeting computer. That rates an easy four, if only for the RACs. But the design is pretty inefficient. Why have single heat sinks, when using double heat sinks would give you 16 tons free?
And I have to ask. How did you get the CT heat sink, sensors, and life support to be rear mounted? |
