Overview:
Another custom 'mech owned by the Grimm family of Regulus, the Roadrunner is a heavily
modified Locust. Lorraine Grimm, the 'mech's current pilot, has ammassed a long string of
kills in her Roadrunner, mostly against Wasps and Stingers. Due to the design's visual
similarity to the Locust, opponents rarely anticipate such a light 'mech carrying a large
laser.
Capabilities:
The Roadrunner carries light armor, even for a 20 ton 'mech, but compensates with its speed
and the concentrated punch of a large laser, capable of penetrating the armor of most light
'mechs with a single shot, and leaving a deep scar on heavier designs.
Deployment:
Only one Roadrunner is in existence, and serves in Grimm's company of the 1st Regulan
Hussars. Lorraine Grimm is an elite pilot, and has one of the highest kill scores in the
regiment. Although she has been offered a larger 'mech, she remains devoted to her
Roadrunner, and is one of the most dangerous light 'mech pilots in the ranks of House Marik.

This isn't half bad!
It's quite speedy and it packs a big gun. For 3025 tech.. this is serious opposition..
Just one thing though.. its armour is three tons.. that should give 48 points. but it's listed as 41.. what gives? Ditto for the distribution..

Keep at your distance, the LL has enough mileage during the 3025 era to keep most lights and mediums off you while you scout around and hit back.
Just don't go Warhammer / Marauder hunting and you will be fine.

3025 sniper? Even without strong armor this isn't bad. Maybe heavier chassis would do better and those hands should be removed (it's a Locust).

naaa, this one is not that good. To be honest, the laser is fine but the maneuverability stinks. add a few jump jets and the design would fair beter. Speed is good and power - range ratio is respectable. As other said, good for its time but it gets worse later on.

I like it, for 3025 this is a dangerous light mech.
Its capabilities degrade rapidly the farther up the timeline you go though, but it doesn't really matter.
A large laser on a scout mech means it can pot shot at medium and heavy mechs at ranges most mechs rear weapons can't hit.
