Oh man this reminds me of munching an apple :P.
Bad jokes aside, this is deadly. Terrifying deadly. The speed isn't as fast as the original but the TC is really a massive boost for this pulse laser heavy design.
This is just wicked. |

Even more dangerous than standard Wraith, adding the TC made it munchy and light engine increased the durability. I'm not sure where the builders of this mech obtained Stainer Light engine and Davion TC in 3058. |

Someone make sure House Steiner players never realise this mech exists. Not only is it useful, it makes up for many difficencies in Steiners mechs.
Not only is it expensive, and hard to repair its also useful. This has to be a Steiner first!
I like it Mordel, I just wish you'd never design a Steiner mech again. You could actually turn them into a speedy and useful faction. |

This is a downright evil little munchkin. The pulse tech with TC is good. Armor and heat dissipation are pretty good, and my oh my oh my, look out, it just jumped over a building into my rear arc and whupped on me :D because I was curious to see how it would perform (never used a mech with a LFE before) I play tested it with a friend of mine, 4 games with us switching who uses it and picking random opponents. The 3rd fight (he had the Tigres) what I said above is exactly what happened to me. He jumped in behind my mech and lased me to death since I only had 1 weapon to bring to bear (lost other arm weapon earlier in the fight) so this thing successfully took down a MAD-5S Marauder. Not too shabby for being 25 tons lighter, of course rolling a city map helped him a lot. Out of the 4 battles it won 2 and lost 2, and both it lost were in open terrain against enemies with long range weapons and either greater speed or a lot of armor. |

This mech would seem to be a good AFFS or LCAF answer to the Wraith. One thing I noticed, thoug it is highly accurate, it would proboy have some heat problems. The other thing I did notice, in the Fluff it was mentioned that the design used a light engine to stay in the fight longer. I guess it depends on yoru standpoint. From a pick up game standpoint it would make the design last longer on the field. From a campaign standpoint though, It would allow the Mechwarrior to move to the rear echelons of the fighting, and give the Mechwarrior a chance for retreat in more dire circumstances. With the Mech's dependance on Energy weapons though I dont see any way it could feasibly be half as effective if it did loose a torso and was taking an extra 10 heat per turn. |
