Way to much armor for a JagerMech ;-)
Now our tinfoil-armored longrange-shell-tosser metamorphosed into a dirty short to medium range brawler with TC.
But be careful. If using it's full damage potential the ammo will run dry sooner than you might expect. Although you can drop that useless 12th DHS for another ton of ammo.
No jump jets and an XL engine can mean it's death if cornered too. |

holy crap, don't let this get in withnin 15 range or you are dead. Good news for the rest of us that 15 range is the RAC-5s max range.
This mech is surprisely well armored for a JagerMech but anything that packs dual RACs and a TC will be taken apart quickly, so good call for the extra armor.

One of the most awesome heavy designs of the later tro's it has massive firepower. I doubt many people realise how much damage RAC5's can deal. A maximum of 60 points from these guns alone, and a targeting computer!
It also has good armour, keep this guy plodding towards an enemy, slowly increasing the weapon speed, only jack it up to six when your confident of a good hit. even 80 ammo will be eaten up quickly by these guys. |

A very good 'Mech, I use this whenever possible. Reasonable speed, good armor, excellent firepower. The RACs use a lot of ammo, but this has enough to go for a while. The tar comp is a fine addition for any machine, especially this one. It loses the 5 because of inefficency in the design. IS FF armor is not a good replacement for EndoSteel. Using EndoSteel will allow you to have 13.5 t of std armor (1 point off max), plus an extra ton of ammo. |
