Comment: Contains all the necessary enhancements to the MR's needed for more refined play. If the Master rules is your bible. This is your New Testament

Comment: I still use the compendium when I play. But then again I don't have the cash to go out and get the updated rules. Up until the last year or so I did not even know there were updated rules out there.

Comment: I still have a copy of this sitting on my shelf. You never know when you might need it. The rules are beyond outdated, but they still have some nifty stuff in there. 10-ton mechs may not see much use, but thyere still fun to toy around with. Its also nice to have a copy of the LAM rules. Flipping through the old Aerotech rules is interesting, too, just to see what was 'cutting edge' back then.

Comment: This book is outdated and out of print now and many rules have been changed. How ever it was the last book published with construction rules for 10-15 ton mechs.and the last one with the full LAM construction rules (though you can still find the latter in the Tactical Handbook. The main value of this book is in the fact that it has the information on the ultra-light mechs and LAMs for old timers who still like to use them
