Description: |
The Drawing Board is by far one of the best Freeware BattleMech Editors that I have seen yet. With the plethora of options for designing your own monster of the battlefield, there's plenty here to keep you happy. With this release, Blackstone Interactive has provided updates to technology found within the Field Manuals as well as fixed many of the small bugs that popped there ugly heads from previous versions.
This is an upgrade from version 2.0.10b, so the install for that version needs to be run first, then simply place the files within this zip file over the previously installed files. |

I like it! Very easy to use. I haven't found any bugs yet. Makes creating variants very easy. I don't have HMP and probably won't buy it yet for some time, so this is outstanding freeware. |

My favorite of the free editors for many reasons.
A) Has the highest tech rating
B) Easy to use and 99% accurate
C) Can export xml files of mechs that are readable by the MegaMek program...Pure Sweetness. |

Fixes some of the problems with older versions, and adds some new tech. TDB is the best freeware design program I've seen, and I've run through a few of them. Easy to understand, easy to use, and with few errors. |

This is fantastic.
It covers most, if not all, of the coding flaws of the previous version and allows for a few more weapons options. Definitely a must have freeware software for someone who does not have the cash for HMP. |
