==Overview:==
Although a promising design, the Sentinel was held back by a variety of
factors. This version seeks to not only eliminate those factors, but go eve
further.
By switching to double heat sinks, the Sentinel can now sport a PPC as its
main weapon rather than an AC/5, permitting both greater damage at range an
longer staying power on the field. This, combined with the decision to empl
Endo Steel, set off a chain reaction in which additional tonnage was found
the machine. The SRM was upgraded, and CASE was added. The small laser beca
a medium laser. Additional medium and small lasers were added. MASC was add
to help take advantage of the heat. By the time everything was said and don
the Sentinel was no longer a high-speed patrol unit but rather a
hunter-killer. As a nod to this, an active probe and additional armor were
added to help it find its targets and then survive the skirmish once it did
