==Overview:==
As Mechs age many are either destroyed in battle, or eventually mothballed. The original Stinger scout mech, has long since outlived its usefulness, with several hundered of the old mechs making thier way to junk yards around the IS. One company called Phoenix Flight Redesign, (thier motto is: "Ones man junk is our next product line") is looking to take the old and make it new again. Thier first Mech is a retake of the old Stinger.
==Capabilities:==
The New Super Stinger looks more like a smaller Phoenix, weighing in at 30 tons the new scout unit is similar enough to be easily mistaken giving the mech a slight edge in combat. Weapons and electronics wise though the new Super Stinger has a much more interesting feel to it. A Guardian ECM and a Improved C3 system give the Super Stinger a much different role that it ever had before. That of Lance leader.
The new weapon mix is a true change, the laser is gone and replaces by a new Avenger Class Heavy machinegun, based off of the old A-10 Warthog gun, the new avenger is a light weight weapon that has a decent reach but, as many critics have pointed out, a very low damage curve. The Avenger is protected in armor, and has a retractible bladed spike slung under the barrle that can be used much like a soldiers bayonette. Time will tell if the new weapon are worth it.

Okay seeing how you are using the new weapons what the hell is the Avenger?

The avenger is a custom weapon. Based on the A-10 warthog main gun. I designed it because I just like the giant chain gun look. And I dont see the AC'2 or 5 being that, I have always seen them as say a tank cannon with a autoloader. Not giant machine guns like the games. This fills that void. Thanks for the info on the Avenger, wouldn't a RAC work out the same way? I am just wondering.
Given that you have your home tech weapon on it, I would have to use the mech to tell you how it would do or not do.

Sure I am always interested in new weapons. Ill admit I would kind of like to see a big rework on the weapons. Rework all the tonnages and weights.
