Greetings fellow MechWarriors,
Having missed hosting in 2008, HorhiroCon is back..with a vengeance! (Disclaimer: this means lots of spicey foods, cheese puffs and very little antacids....) Just kidding! CHEESE PUFFS ARE STILL BANNED! 
DATE HAS BEEN FINALIZED: SUNDAY JUNE 28TH 8:00AM-8:00PM
Please fill out the poll, feel free to post responses. 
THIS YEAR'S EVENTS:
1. Classic Battletech: 3025 Solaris 7: Heavyweight Champion’s Cup
Bring any official 3025 era, level 1 mechsheet between 55 and 75 tons (inclusive) with adjusted pilot/gunnery skills to 1100 Battle Value Points. Bring 3 copies.
Mechwarriors will randomly battle as pairs on the following Solaris7 Arenas: Hartford Gardens, The Junkyard, The Mud Pit, The Coliseum, and The Davion Arena. Championship points awarded for kills, survivals, and style. All standard ammo permitted, including inferno. Player with the most points wins the Cup!
(We didn't have time to play that one for the '07 con..so I've dusted it off
for '09  )

2. Classic Battletech: Capture the Flag-Hamburger Hill
Bring 2 official Inner Sphere mechsheets, one Light Mech,and one Medium Mech. Combined BV of not more than 2000 points. (no adjusting BV for pilot or gunnery skill) Mechs can be from any era with following exceptions: no walking move higher than 6, no AC20 ultras, no large pulse lasers, no targeting computers, standard ammo only (infernos permitted).
Players will be slit into two teams, Steiner and Kurita. All Mechs will have their Gunnery skill lowered to 3, Pilot skill stays at 5. Each team will defend 4 flags while trying to capture 4 enemy flags. The home bases will be divided by a level 6 plateau mountain. Team with the most flags in their base at end of game wins.

 THIS YEAR'S LUNCH MENU (so far, subject to change):
Grilled Lemon & pepper chicken breast
hot dogs
Corn on the cob
slaw & macaroni salad
rolls/chips
diet soda, iced tea, water,etc

If everyone could bring some snack food please (chips pretzels, doughnuts, etc) We might also get a pizza around 6 pm for guys who want to chip in.

I'm actually going to send you an e-mail about this soon Horhiro...we have some mutual friends from Virginia heading in this direction near that June date, and I'm going to see what their plans are vs the dates you've proposed.

Hey bro, all 4 days I've listed are vacation days for me, that's why 2 Saturdays are in. The boys might be playing.
