The NFL has a serious issue this year with officiating. There are always questionable calls, and that's part of the game. But this year there have been so many bad calls. The NE @ Miami game had a boat-load of them. I'm watching the Indy @ SD game and they had 3 bad calls on one drive. A pass-interference on 3rd-down when the guy was 8-yards from the ball (he must have long hands); another pass-interference on 3rd-down where no one could find the guy guilty of it; and then a no-catch call when the guy clearly had control and actually started running (was stripped and recovered by SD).
I don't know what you can do, but it's getting to be more like the NBA with every game. And that's a bad thing. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Mordel and I watched the game together...we talked on IM while the game was going on.
The number of times we both said a penalty was going one way and it went the other, or we both saw a penalty that happened that wasn't called or--maybe worse--saw a penalty called where none happened was far too high.
And when people rooting opposite teams in a match-up nearly universally agree with each other in regard to penalties, it's pretty obvious the calls are bad. _________________ www.210sportsblog.com
