==Overview:==
With their neighbors, the Federated Suns engulfed in War, and the Cappellen
Confederation almost sure to take advantage of the situation, the Taurian
Concordat has resigned itself to the war it never wished to have. A war it
sure will devestate it.
However the Concordat has no intentions of taking this sitting down. Alread
arms producers and common citizens are coming together to build defendable
cities and towns. The Federated Suns might invade, but they will fight for
every scrap of land. The Vermin is to help make this even more so.
==Capabilities:==
A light city fighting tank, the Vermin is truly dangerous when its back is
pressed against a wall. Able to unload devesting fire from the SRMs, especi
when combined with infernos, the light tank has the armor to sit tight and
reinforcements while bombarding an enemy.
Thick armor, cheap and reliable is the key to the Vermins success. Although
shares the weaknesses of most tanks, the thick armor and good speed, not to
mention natural good handling of treads, make the Vermin a fast and deadly
dweller. Some have even started to name the tiny tank the cockroach because
its resemblence to that little bug.
Although not very dangerous by itself, the Vermin is like vermin, dangerous
rather in numbers. And numbers there are. The second strength of the Vermin
its ease of construction. Almost 100 a month have been built, and if more
factories can be converted to Vermin lines that number might increase! Most
every major city will have a company of these tanks ready to repulse invade
If war comes to the Concordat, the Vermin will be ready to fight it.
==Variants:==
Some varients on the drawing board include replacing the SRMs with LRM syst
for a long range harrasser and mine mech, or removing most of the systems a
replacing them with flamers, machine guns and room for infantry. So far the
has been no word on any of these actually seeing production however.
==Deployment==
The Vermin is deployed heavily within the Concordat. Almost any built up
terrain, cities or mountains, has had Vermin sent to it to lodge themselves
deep and make themselves hard to get. The cheapness of the design allows th
to be built in vast quantities, almost a company can be made for the price
single Marauder.
